It's the holiday season! Walking in my vanilla and cinnamon scented neighborhood (IS EVERYBODY BAKING TODAY??) all I can think of is donuts. Cake donuts. Slightly glazed. Spicy. *sigh*
Scour the internet...and--ta-da--low carb donuts!!! Dug out the Baby Cakes mini donut baker. And settled in for a baking session. And it worked! Nice taste, good bite, not too sweet but enough to satisfy the craving, and peace of mind due to no surprise, or unwanted, or mysterious ingredients.

On another topic, my all time trusted source for all kinds of cooking, America's Test Kitchen is developing a gluten free BREAD series! YAY!!! I may have to renew my subscription so I can try the recipies as soon as they are released.
