So, what I found in the fridge is a jar of vodka cream sauce, hot Italian sausage, sweet Italian sausage and left over grilled steak. Hmm...so far the sauce with chopped up meats has been simmering slowly slowly on the stove for over two hours. Meat is barely recognizable, and the smell is enticing.

Why you ask, have I not spent today with more creative culinary pursuits?

Because we found a new GREAT thing at Toys R Us and we are sitting outside on this nice spring day enjoying K-bear discover the thrills of a sandbox.

That's in the fridge, since I forgot to serve it last night with our grilled steaks! LOL Oh well, am trying to figure out how to use it with the leftover steak, spinach and couscous with peas tonight.

This is my first post. I've been home now for almost a year taking care of K-bear and working on building up my personal consulting business - all of which are going well. So I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, staring into the fridge and pantry and coming up with all sorts of combinations - some weird, some pretty decent and some that feed the compost pile.
